CORTLAND FIASCO UPDATE

Hey all,
From October 15th to November 5th, the Fiasco played 6 shows with a wide variety of challenges. Will we be able to fit thriller in before the metro closes on Halloween night? Why did "love is a battlefield" not find its way onto the wedding playlist? Why is it 32 degrees and raining while we're playing an outdoor show on the potomac..and how are people still managing to show up half naked (the magic of Halloween!)? Why did 42 40-60 year old Irish men take over the dance floor at our Kelly's Irish times show..and how are they managing to successfully request spankings from college girls while I sing? It's always an adventure. Thanks to the Potomac Boat Club, Casey and Rebecca, The Town Tavern, the Velvet Lounge, the Blue Banana, and Kelly's Irish Times- as well as all the devoted fans who showed up- for a wild ride.

After that flurry of activity has got us a little sleepy, but we are PUMPED for a few new mashups we've been working on to tickle the senses and get you going this holiday season. Stay tuned for a possible new years eve show (fingers crossed!), but until then the ONE show we have booked is December 9th at the Blue Banana in Petworth. You know you're going to need a break from all that gingerbread and awkward interactions with tipsy coworkers- so spend night at the Cortland Fiasco holiday party. There will be mistletoe, there may be santa and, I promise, there will be no Mariah Carey "all I want for Christmas is you." Unless one of you wants to come up and break into song...in which case I am in full support!

We would love to see you at what might be our only show of the holidays, and hope everyone is well!

KT
