To start, thanks to everyone who made the Jan 27/28th weekend one of the most amazing duos of dance parties we have ever seen. Energy was high, your moves were amazing (especially the man who was trying to recreate the last scene of Napoleon Dynamite in the front window of Bobby Lew's) and we had an absolute blast. Thank you to our good friend Liz Helms for being an amazing host, and we can't wait to do it again soon!

We made a lot of new friends that night, but like many of those hot passionate evenings, many of them left us with nothing but a high five and a drunken promise to love us forever. I was thinking of putting out a "missed connections" ad (me: dressed in red hot pants, sweating, shouting sweet nothings of Jackson five into your ear. You: pounding beers, rocking out to an endless stream of dance tunes, with the best 'running man' I've ever seen) but instead I'll just ask you. If you're on this email list and you know somebody who would really love to be receiving some infrequent but seriously heartfelt love from the Fiasco, tell them to send us an email and I'll get them on the list.

NOW HERE ARE THE IMPORTANT THINGS:
Tonight, we rock Mad Rose Tavern in Arlington for our first time ever. As with any first date...we're putting on too much perfume/cologne, popping breath mints like candy and just hoping to god we don't say something awkward. If you could help us out by stopping by and showing us some love, it would banish our first date jitters and we'd be so happy to see you.

Next two shows are: Kelly's Irish Times on March 2nd at 10PM (we'll be getting some professional photog and maybe video done at this show, so if you show up, you have a good chance of being a star on the cortland fiasco website. I know it's your lifelong dream.)

Barking Dog in Bethesda is March 9th. I'm forwarding ya'll a coupon for this that came up in groupon or livingsocial or god knows what today. This is another first time show and we'd love to have your support...and now, you can drink for half off! Hooray!

Did your New Years eve live up to your expectations? No? I can guess why not. Through all the alcohol, the glitter, the glitz, the quest to find a smooching partner at midnight- WHERE WAS THE DANCING? I for one held a prom themed party where we danced to old school boyz2men and relived our awkward middle school dance experiences...but my dancing quota was in no way filled! Shake your body into submission after weeks of watching xmas movies and consuming copious amounts of baked goods.

THIS FRIDAY, Jan 6- Kelly's Irish Times in capitol hill. This friday is actually what we like to call our show-aversary. One year ago on this day was the first time we ever played out at a bar, and because we have such a great support group they absolutely packed the place. Even on a thursday night the dancing was plentiful, the beer free-flowing. Expect something special (I was thinking of a trivia contest- how many costume changes on average each show has Evan undergone this year? How many drum sticks has Mark shredded? How many times has Caleb cross dressed?) with some prizes for the winners. We love you guys and want to celebrate- please come out with us!

January 28th- Bobby Lew's. We love this bar because of it's location- close enough to Admo to get some of the crazy (remember that bachelorette dancing on the bar night, guys?), just far enough down the hill to snag the truly devoted to dancing. Bring your friends, bust a move.

Unfortunately, Facebook has been giving us some trouble and I've been unable to make an event for these shows. SO PLEASE, for the love of pete pass this info along, tell your friends, and come out on friday- we'd love to see your faces!
